What a typical school day looks like

A steady rhythm helps young children feel secure. Here is the shape of a normal day; exact timings vary by class.

    Arrival and welcome

    Children are greeted at the gate by staff and settle into their classrooms, ready to start the day calmly.

    Morning assembly

    Recitation, the national anthem, a thought for the day and a moment to celebrate each other's achievements.

    Learning blocks

    Focused lessons built around hands-on activity: Montessori work for the youngest, and core subjects with practical tasks as children grow.

Wellbeing and safety

Every child safe, known and cared for

Children learn best when they feel secure. These are the commitments we make to every family.

  • Children are supervised at all times, including arrival, break and dismissal.
  • Children are only handed over to parents or adults the family has authorised.
  • Kind, respectful behaviour is taught and expected; bullying is never ignored.
  • Teachers get to know each child and share concerns with parents early.
  • Clean, child-friendly classrooms and attention to basic health and hygiene.
  • Parents are contacted promptly if a child is unwell or has an accident.

Small leaders, big responsibilities

Uniform

Proud to wear RMS green

Our uniform gives children a sense of belonging and makes mornings simple for families.
